We are Church - open and inclusive to people of every race and language, peaople and nation, age and sexuality and gender identity, ability and backgorund and culture. When Jesus says that to follow him we must deny ourselves, that's not about giving up chocolate for Lent; to truly include people will demand of us, we will have to give up some things we value, take up some things we find challenging, we will have to genuinely search our hearts and minds and community to root out those things that exclude and undermine, and that will be difficult and challengeing. We are Church and We are responsible.
