As some of you will know St John's Schola Cantorum went to Rome last weekend, principally because they were invited to take part in the International Choral Competition CHORUS INSIDE Rome 2022. They won! They were placed Best Choir out of 18 competing ensembles from all over the EU, and best performance. I also understand, though the maestro hasn't confessed it yet, that a certain Director of Music, Domenico Gioffre, may have won a trophy for Best Conductor.
