Like the early African Martyrs ‘we cannot exist without Sunday’; our very best efforts go into our Sunday worship. Do come and join our worshipping community as we meet Jesus in Word and Sacrament.

8.30am Holy Communion (BCP)
It is a quiet, reflective, service with sermon, no hymns or provision for small children. The service lasts between 35 and 40 minutes.

9.30am Morning Prayer
The Weekday Chapel is just to the left as you come into St John's. Join the clergy as they say Morning Prayer together.

10.00am Parish Mass
This is a lively modern service with hymns, incense, servers and a sermon. During term-time there is a Crèche for accompanied children in the Lower Hall and Sunday School (4-11 years). Fair-trade tea and coffee and home baking are available after the service. Once a month the Schola (4 professional and semi-professional singers) sing at Mass and Choral Evensong.

6.00pm Sung Evensong (BCP)
This service was created by Thomas Cranmer from several monastic services. It's quiet, meditative and full of the Scriptures. There are hymns, psalms and bible readings and a sermon. There is no provision for small children.
