Registers
History of St John's...

St John's was built in the 1829 and combines elements of Georgian church design with the beginings of the 'Gothic revival' characteristic of of the Victorians.

The building was reordered in the 1988 by the Hill Rowe Partnership to bring the internal space up-to-date with the liturgical reforms of the 1960's.

We're still situated at the heart of Fulham working to build up our community and support the people of Fulham.

The current ecclesiastical parish of St John with St James, Walham Green includes all or part of the formerly independent parishes of St Oswald's, Anselm Road, St Augustine's, Lillie Road and St James, Moore Park Road. Due to the considerable number of requests from around the world for searches of the parish registers the Parochial Church Council has decided to levy the following fees:

For the first hour (inclusive of one copy of an entry in certain registers)  £25.00
For each subsequent hour or part of an hour                                                    £20.00
Additional copies of entries.
                                                         £25.00

Regrettably time spent by the Parish Administrator on searches in Registers or making out copies of certificates will only be made on receipt of a cheque for a 1 hour search (£25) made payable to 'St John's PCC'.
