The building has a fantastic acoustic and so several choirs make St John's their base and enjoy singing here (e.g. The Fulham Camerata and the Fulham and Hammersmith Choral Society). For worship on Sundays we have The Schola and the Parish Choir.

The Schola Cantorum, or Schola, is auditioned and made up of professional and semi-professional singers who perform a wide range of music. The Schola meets to sing at our Parish Mass and Choral Evensong on the second Sunday of each month. In addition to this regular commitment, the choir sing at the occasional festal Solemn Mass through out the year.

Our robed Parish Choir is non-auditioning and is always looking for more members (men, women or children). They are committed to leading our worship through their love of singing (as well as wanting to sing more beautifully!). This choir sings at our 10.00am Parish Mass every week but focuses on producing a special piece on the third Sunday of each month. Rehearsals take place every Sunday mornings at 9.30 till 9.50am.

For more details on any of these ensembles, call the Parish Office on 020 7385 7634 or email the Director of Music.
