Lenten Concert Series
All of these concerts are FREE entry. There will be a retiring collection.
Sunday 11th February 1030am - Orchestral Mass for the last Sunday before Lent.
Join us as an enlarged schola and 12 piece orchestra enhance our worship with Haydn's Nelson Mass.  Wagner's Siegfried Idyll will be the orchestral voluntary.
Sunday 18th February 6.30pm:  Catharine Woodward (soprano) and Richard Black (piano).  Messiaen's Harawi.
Sunday 25th February 6.30pm:  Ben Woodward (piano), James Widden (violin) and Alison Holford ('cello):  Brahms and Mendelssohn Piano Trios.   
Our Director of Music and half of the quartet who play our Good Friday service will play two remarkable, virtuosic piano trios, Brahms C minor Op.101 and Mendelssohn D minor Op.49
Sunday 4th March 6.30pm:  Jenny Farley (flute) and Hannah Mitchell (piano)
A recital of virtuosic flute music, including Ian Clarke's evocative Hypnosis, and works by Bach, and Georgian composer Taktakishvili's Sonata.
Sunday 11th March 6.30pm:  Simon Tong (trumpet) and Ben Woodward (piano & organ).   Trumpeter Simon Tong will play works including the Naji Hakim Sonata for Trumpet and Organ.
Sunday 18th March 6.30pm:  Hannah Macaulay (soprano) and Ben Woodward (piano)
Soprano Hannah Macaulay - recently seen as Desdemona in Fulham Opera's Otello workshop will sing a recital entitled Death Becomes Her.
Sunday 25th March 7.30pm Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater
Sung in a liturgical setting.
