If you've decided you want to take your faith to the next level, to confirm decisions made for you when you were baptised or make public your commitment to the Lord then maybe the Sacrament of Confirmation is the way forward.

Every year Bishop Paul, or an authorised deputy, comes to celebrate the special Sacrament of Confirmation when candidates are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Bishop Edward Holland is coming on Thursday 7th June 2012 at 7.30pm - the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ - to confirm those who want to take this step of faith.

Preparation for adults begins in January. Specific teaching, tailored to your needs, will then be delivered on Tuesday nights (see What's On... for details) starting at 8.00pm and finishing at 10.00pm. The course includes an Away Day.

Teenagers (11-18) who are part of the Encoun+er group can also begin Confirmation preparation after Christmas. For more details on this, please contact the Parish Office.
